If you have a lower-tier subcontractor performing work on a project that requires weekly Certified Payroll Reports (CPRs), they must first be added to the project by the prime contractor.
⚠️ Important: Only the prime contractor can add lower-tier subcontractors to a project in Kaster.
How to Add a Lower-Tier Subcontractor
If you are a subcontractor and need your lower tier added:
- Contact the prime contractor for the project.
- Provide them with the following information:
- Lower-Tier Company Name
- Primary Contact Person Name
- Contact Email Address
Once the prime contractor adds the lower tier to the project:
- The lower tier will receive an invitation email.
- They must complete their account setup.
- They will then be responsible for submitting their own weekly certified payroll reports.
