Kaster provides the ability to pin one important message per conversation for easy tracking of important messages sent or received. To pin and unpin messages, please follow the steps below.
- To pin messages:
- While viewing a conversation within which you would like to pin a message, click the Thumbtack icon at the bottom of the conversation, to the left of the text field
- The Thumbtack will turn orange, and thumbtack buttons will appear adjacent to each message in the conversation individually
- Navigate to the message you would like to pin and click the corresponding thumbtack
- The thumbtack that was just clicked, as well as the message itself, will turn orange for easy tracking and identification
- That message thread to the left of the app will now have an orange thumbtack indicator, indicating that conversation has a pinned message contained within
- To unpin messages:
- Navigate to the conversation with a pinned message, indicated by the orange thumbtack, from the conversation list, and click that thread
- Click the thumbtack icon at the bottom of the conversation, to the left of the text field
- Click the orange thumbtack adjacent to the corresponding message that you would like to unpin
- The message will no longer be orange, and the orange thumbtack indicator on the message thread will disappear
- You can now pin another message, if necessary, within that conversation
