This article explains how to reset your password, log in with a one-time passcode, change your password, and verify + resend your Kaster invitation email.
Resetting Your Password
If you forgot your password, you have two options:
Option 1 – Reset Your Password
- Click Forgot Password? on the Kaster login page.
- Enter your email and click Reset Password.
- Check your inbox for an email titled Verification code for your Kaster account.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the email.
- Create a new password, confirm it, and click Confirm to log in.
Option 2 – One-Time Passcode Login
- Click One-Time Password Login under the Sign In button.
- Enter your email and click Send One-Time Password.
- Check your inbox for the 6-digit code and enter it.
- Click Sign In to access your account.
Changing Your Password
If you’re already logged in and want to update your password:
Click the Settings cog icon (top right).
Select Security > Change Password.
Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
Click Update to save changes.
Resending Your Invitation Email (Account Password Creation)
If you don't receive a reset password email or code, then your account just needs to complete the account setup process and officially create a password to continue logging in. To do so, follow the steps below to create a password:
On the login page, click Resend Invitation.
Enter your email and click Send Invitation.
Check your inbox for a new invitation email.
Follow the link in the email to create a password and complete setup.
Troubleshooting
- ⚠️ Never Invited: If you still can’t find the invitation and are having issues accessing and verifying your account, it’s very likely you were never added to a project directory to begin with. In that case, contact the person responsible for inviting you (usually your project manager or prime contractor).
Check Junk/Spam: If you don’t see the email, look in your Junk or Spam folder.
Add Kaster to Safe Senders: Emails come from no-reply@verificationemail.com. Add this to your safe senders list.
IT Filters: If still missing, ask your IT team to allow emails from @kaster.app.
Already Registered: If your email suggests resetting a password, it means you already registered. Simply reset your password instead.
