đź“‹ Managing Worker Certifications
To help ensure full compliance with certified payroll and workforce reporting requirements, Kaster allows you to manage each worker’s certifications directly from their profile. This makes it easy to stay organized and up to date with important documents like OSHA 10, Section 3 certifications, Apprentice IDs, and more.
⚠️ Important: All uploaded worker certifications are subject to review and approval by the project reviewer, which is typically the prime contractor. Certification status may impact whether a worker appears correctly on certified payroll reports.
đź‘· To Manage Worker Certifications:
Navigate to your project's Directory, select your company, and click on the Workforce tab.
- Select a worker from your Workforce list.
- Go to their Certification Requirements tab.
- There you'll see a list of worker certificates to upload. Click on the 'View' button, upload the documents and click 'Upload' to submit.
Please note: Certain worker requirements, such as Apprentice IDs and OSHA 10 certifications, must be reviewed and approved before the worker will appear correctly on weekly certified payrolls.
In particular, Apprentice IDs must be approved before any certified payroll can be submitted for that worker.
đź”” Why This Matters
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date certification records:
• Enforces owner-specific compliance requirements
• Ensures accurate workforce reporting (e.g., OSHA 10 hours, Section 3 tracking, Apprentice ID expiration dates)
